Millenique Brown is a Dallas-based movement artist, dance educator, and founder of Mbodied Movement, a wellness-centered practice rooted in dance, conditioning, and spiritual reflection. Originally from New Orleans, her work is shaped by the city’s cultural rhythm, communal spirit, and reverence for embodied expression. These influences continue to inform her choreographic voice and her approach to holistic movement practice.
Brown earned her Bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and is currently completing her MFA in Dance at Texas Woman’s University, expected Spring 2026. Her graduate research investigates embodied dialogue, relational awareness, and spiritually informed creative process.
As a choreographer and facilitator, she creates structured movement experiences that bridge artistic practice and personal growth. Through wellness workshops, conditioning-based classes and choreographic residencies, Brown integrates physical discipline with reflective and relational inquiry. Her work expands beyond performance into transformative movement spaces that cultivate resilience, embodied awareness, and intentional connection. Through Mbodied Movement, she supports artists and movers seeking both technical development and deeper alignment between body, spirit, and community.
