The Mbodied Story

I am drawn to the abstract.

The spiritual.

The gooey.

The disjointed.

The interconnected complexity that lives in the body

where development becomes transformation.

I investigate the inner parts of being

through movement the body chooses

and language the body knows.

Movement and language are the same to me.

They exist to connect us

and communicate what the other cannot.

Movement fills in the blanks that words leave behind.

I believe we move through language,

sharing experiences, stories, and ourselves.

It's like a thread that connects us all,

held in sacred, lived poetry.
